- Biography
I am Hector Pavon, a 26-year-old Honduran born and raised in San Pedro Sula, a tropical weather city not so far from the Atlantic shore. Growing up with my mother, stepfather, and two little brothers, I was taught to work hard to get what you want in life.
I graduated Highschool with a Science and Arts degree and a Foreign Languages Diploma. Throughout my professional career, I have gotten an English certificate (EF SET C2 Proficient) and an Interpretation Certificate L4.
Currently practicing as a legal assistant, my favorite part about working in a law firm, is the personal involvement at some point you need to have when working on a case since you need to defend it against anything, speak up for your client and be tenacious about it, like if it’s happening to you, or a loved one.
I am passionate about Intake, reason why is because it is one of my main roles but also the most important in a law firm since it is the first interaction a client has with the firm, therefore is what defines the relationship that we might have with them. They must feel assured, heard, and safe.
What I value the most at my job is the service of helping people with things they don’t understand or need guidance to succeed. We are into people, equality, respect, and acceptance. We know how difficult life can turn sometimes and how helpless you get to feel when the road is unknown, we work and will keep working hard to be the compass to take you where you want to be.
There are 2 main things I enjoy by myself outside of the office: Music and Sports. I love to sing and play instruments, and I also love playing soccer, they are both my escape from the world. I enjoy any place where there is good food, I must say though street food is the most delicious. Some of my favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul, and The Office, among others.
I am married for almost 4 years now and have a set of 3-year-old twins, a boy, and a girl. They are my life. My wife and I have been together for 7 years now, and our babies came to brighten our lives. We cherish every moment together and they fuel our happiness and energies to succeed in life.
